The roof deck is the wood surface beneath the underlayment and roofing material. Decking condition is an important part of planning a complete roof replacement. Some damage can be hidden until the old roofing is removed.

After the existing roofing is removed, we inspect the exposed decking and document damaged areas that need attention.
Replace what is needed
The 5 Sheet Advantage includes up to five sheets of plywood decking replacement. Sound decking stays in place; damaged decking is addressed before the new system goes on.

What does the 5 Sheet Advantage include?
It includes up to five sheets of plywood decking replacement with your roof replacement. We replace damaged decking as needed, following the scope in your written proposal.
Why might my roof need new plywood?
Decking can be damaged beneath the existing roofing. Some conditions are easier to identify once the old roof covering is removed. We inspect the exposed wood before installing the new roof system.
What happens if more than five sheets are needed?
We document the additional damaged areas and explain the necessary work and pricing according to your written proposal. Ask us about the additional decking rate when reviewing your estimate.
Does every roof need all five sheets replaced?
No. We replace damaged decking that needs attention. If less replacement is needed, we address those areas; sound decking does not need to be removed simply to use the full allowance.
Is this included with a small roof repair?
The 5 Sheet Advantage is a roof replacement benefit. For a roof repair, the required decking work is identified in that repair's scope.
